Philbrick’s Beach located on Ocean Blvd (aka Route 1A) in Rye, NH has access to limited street parking as well as a small, ~15 cars, parking lot which is for members only.  There are no restrooms, changing rooms or food concessions on site, no lifeguards so swimmers should exercise caution and no pets allowed on the beach.  

Alcohol, firearms and fires are not permitted on Philbrick’s Beach.

Philbrick’s Beach is all about rest and relaxation as the main attractions are beachcombing, fishing, flying kites, reading a book, sunbathing and swimming.

The nearby Philbrick's by the Sea cottages are run by 12th and 13th generation Philbricks, maintaining a connection to the area's founding families. And as far back as 1874 / 75, the Direct United States Cable Company laid a transatlantic communications cable between Ireland and Rye Beach covering a distance of 3100+ miles.
